Life Is Worth Living
Life is said to be worth living, but isn't that what Life is all about anyway? Confounding simplicity creates the hardships which we gleefully throw at ourselves each and every day. The only hardship that exists is the effort in which we place our entire existence within. The effort of not-knowing.
Believe it or not, this requires a great deal of effort to keep in place. Is it any wonder that it becomes even more difficult to recognize Truth when we see it? Is it any wonder that we strive, for innumerable lifetimes, to seek for the answers in which we so dedicate ourselves to denying?
Effort requires resistance.
The effort you demonstrate in Seeking is in direct proportion to the effort expended in not-knowing. This is really a very hilarious adventure that so many of us seem to be on. What better entertainment can be provided than that which we have provided for ourselves?
Knowing that efforting in not-knowing will create the knowledge necessary to realign our ignorance is a necessary step in coming to terms with Ourselves. We are our best friends and our most devious arch enemy. How could we possibly defeat the enemy which we have created?
The enemy of ignorance exists for as long as we wish. When we have had enough of the show that we are putting on for ourselves, we then begin to see that knowing and not-knowing are of the same coin. Of what lies beyond?
The Infinite lies beyond. It has no name other that which we place upon it. It has no meaning other than that which we assign. Encompassing nothing it means nothing, but yet creates the identity which you so proudly wear.
Pride of identity creates the competition so necessary to "win" in Life. Winning is everything and we do anything to win. It truly is amazing at the creativity that is demonstrated by those who insist upon winning in Life. The trouble is that for each lifetime, it must be repeated. Over and over we run from ourselves, scurrying from place to place in the hopes that our identity will be declared the ultimate winner.
No one has ever won. No one ever will win.
The only way for your identity to win is to know what lies beyond. Winning or losing, or even the desire to play this game called Life, will cease to exist. In it's place, the Infinite will flow and the mind will exist as the thought that it is.
The thought of Life creates Life. The thought of creation makes it so. What are you willing to acknowledge?
If Life is worth living, is living Life?
