Truths
The religion of Scientology, in it's original form, endeavors to impart it's "knowing how to know" philosophy through various means and effects. In this, Scientology certainly deserves it's place among the religions and philosophical teachings of the world.
Please note that the term 'Scientology' is being used here in it's original form and intent, both in it's religious as well as philsophical reference.
Rarely do I reference words and works in explaining some point or area of Scientology, but in this article I will be making liberal use of both Scientology references as well as references of other words and works.
For example:
"All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."- Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)
Truth, as always, remains as it is without explaination or elucidation, but when it comes to the idea of imparting that truth to others, well then it MUST be explained and elucidated upon. Unfortunately, all that can be done when it comes to truth is to allude to it. The funny thing about truth is that once it becomes realized it is ALWAYS self-evident, but in order to lead up to that realization, stages or some other mapped out route must be travelled.
Isn't it funny that in order to realize a truth a path must be travelled to get there?
In actual fact, that path simply leads you BACK to the truth that has ALWAYS, and WILL always, be there. This is what it means to 'uncover the truth'. What is being done is to uncover the false ideas, thoughts and pictures that one has placed in the way.
Sometimes, those ideas, thoughts and pictures are held very dear to oneself and the closer that one gets to dismantling these, the more violently opposed one becomes until at long last, one ALLOWS oneself to SEE the truth.
Pointing the way is what all the philosophies and religions of the world do. That is ALL that they do. The rest is up to each and every individual that is ready and WILLING to 'uncover the truth'.
Scientology and it's "Bridge to Total Freedom" not only POINTS the way, but also SHOWS you how, step by step, to achieve and realize Truth. Uncovering truth is a step by step process, no matter the HOW of achieving that truth. One step leads to another and another until eventually, the cloak of darkness that one has placed before one's eyes, begins to unravel.
It takes one who knows the way to successfully achieve the same in others.
" You must BE the change you wish to see in the world."
- Mahatma Gandhi
This is why it is so important to FULLY understand and realize not only what Scientology IS but what it MEANS as well. Quickied progress along the path will sooner or later ensure that one will mistep along the way. This is true all religious philosophies.
"Religion is not what you will get after reading all the scriptures of the world. It is not really what is grasped by the grain. It is a heart grasp."
- Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948)
It is never enough to just read every last scrap of material on this planet because without fully realizing what one has read, it's purpose becomes empty and lacking of meaning.
We are not in a race to see who wins the game of 'enlightenment' and those that are will surely repeat the chance of finding the truth that they are looking for, lifetime after lifetime.
If you do not BECOME the truth you will be doomed to repeat the effort for Eternity.
When you place the responsibility for your spiritual awakening upon another, you will come to find that either your trust has been misplaced or that it has been justly placed. Sooner or later you WILL find a 'leader of the way' which harmonises with your inner being. When that happens there will be no denying either the truth or the way.
The purpose of discovering your own inner being is to find out who or what you really are. How long have you occupied yourself with 'adding' things to your being? How long will you take in letting these go? Who will you choose to show you the way?
