Being A Thetan
Some definitions need to be brought up before I get to the point of this article.
THETAN: "9. the person himself-not his body or his name, the physical universe, his mind, or anything else; that which is aware of being aware; the identity which is the individual. The thetan is most familiar to one and all as you. (Aud 25 UK)"
- Technical Dictionary of Dianetics and Scientology, by L. Ron Hubbard
"A valence is a false or true identity."
- Science of Survival, by L. Ron Hubbard
"VALENCE, 1. a valence is an identity complete with bank mass or mental image picture mass of somebody other than the identity selected by oneself. In other words, what we usually mean by valence is somebody else's identity assumed by a person unknowingly. (17ACC-10, 5703C10)"
- Technical Dictionary of Dianetics and Scientology, by L. Ron Hubbard
Maybe if all Scientologists came out of their "thetan" valence, we would see more than just reformation within the hallowed halls of the Church of Scientology, Inc.
Dr. Hubbard was an expert at hypnotism and mysticism. Here is something that he conjured up just for fun:
"Well, anyway, I invented this great god Throgmagog for one single and solitary purpose: to find out if the conscious mind could be removed from the individual and be made to think and give orders to the individual thereafter. "
- Secrets of the MEST Universe, by L. Ron Hubbard, 1952
That conscious mind is the "thetan".
Wake up and smell the burning incense. When head games turn into power trips it will take more than just "auditing" to get you back down from your "high".
How do I know?
A "thetan" told me.
Don't believe me? Let's try again:
THETAN:"...the identity which is the individual."
VALENCE:"...an identity complete with bank mass or mental image picture mass of somebody other than the identity selected by oneself."
What is it with all the identities?
Dr. Hubbard says that a "thetan" is an identity.
Get over it and stop being a "thetan".
Dr. Hubbard would not approve, but look what happened to HIS "thetan". Dead like all the rest.
