What is the name of that movie where people live out an existence as defined by puppet masters from outer space? Ah yes, it's called 'Dark City'.

And it is a dark and dreary existence.

Most people would rather live that kind of existence, in so-called ignorance than to face the terrifying truth of their own participation.

Here, they turn on the lights to 'prove' that there are no boogie-men hiding in the dark, pulling strings.

It's all done out in the open. Who would believe it anyway.
