"Being" An Identity
This message requires a bit of "thinking", maybe even a bit of reasoning. Through the Mind Disasters Do Happen.
"THETAN: The awareness of awareness unit which has all potentialities but no mass, no wavelength and no location."
- HCO Bulletin of 3 July 1959, General Information, by L. Ron Hubbard.
"THETAN: This term designates the beingness of the individual, the awareness of awareness unit, that quantity and identity which IS the preclear."
- Scientology 8-8008, by L. Ron Hubbard, 1967.
"The trick was to shoot somebody, disable somebody, very often a needle into a lung, and at the same time to hit him with frozen alcohol and glycol, which preparation is guaranteed to pick up a thetan. All they had to do was pick him up and put him into a refrigerator, and they had him boy. Because if he tried to exteriorize from the body, there he was frozen.
- 6810C03 Class VIII TAPE 10, ASSISTS, by L. Ron Hubbard, Tape Transcript per Internet posting by FZ Bible.
If a "thetan" has no location, how is it then possible to "pick up a thetan"?
If a "thetan" has no location, how is it possible for it to be an "identity"?
If a "thetan" is the beingness of an individual, then why was Hubbard so preoccupied with the thetan and not the individual to which he referred?
What can be gained by clearing the beingness of an individual?
"The one thing a thetan is afraid of being is what he is in terms of this universe: nothing."
—P.A.B. No. 4, Beingness and Certainty Processing, by L. Ron Hubbard, 1953
"Being" nothing is still an identity. Hubbard became an "expert" at "clearing" the identity. He also made a LOT of money doing this which his "church" continues to this day.
I'll say it again.
What is to be gained by emptying the mind of it's troubles?1
