In The Encumbering Night
Night time is a time of rest, at least that is what the sales literature1 tells you. But it is also a time where one can ease the boundaries, of pushing things, in a way, undetected. It's not that we're trying to escape notice but more along the line of keeping under the radar. I tend to do that a lot but never mind that.
When there are avenues with to explore, explore we must. It's not about some happenstance but more about opening the doors to ourselves.
There is a lot to be had2.
During our daylight savings time we expend great effort in accomplishment. We fill our lives with such and proudly proclaim that our worth is worthy of note. Ah yes, the character must reap it's rewards in it's ever effort to seek and find3. In our accomplishments we are judged but it is not so4.
In questioning we derive at answers or the lack thereof5. In the pursuit of happiness we of course fall into the pit of suffering. It is the nature of things6. Freedom is already at hand so in trying to find or release such is nothing but shadow play upon the walls of a reality that you think is unquestionably real and apparent. It is not.
During the night we dream. During the day we dream. One may appear more real than the other but that is completely within your own choice and choices.
Go ahead, take a step beyond all this ruminating7.

I wouldn't wish that on any one. ↩

There is a whole 'nother side issue at play here but never mind that, for now. ↩

The 'lack thereof' part is quite important. ↩
-
Not really but it is predictable in it's set-up. ↩

Gotcha! Yes, the stands run deep and long. The whole point is to cut the ties that bind. ↩
