Keepers Of The Dream

I came across the title of this post in a song. Not the name of the song but of the words used within it. And so, here is my commentary.

There are many keepers of one thing or another in this Universe. After all, it's quite a big universe. Or not¹.

The dream within which we take root in order to play out some concept or idea is just that. A dream. Origins require looking past our nose but unfortunately these days, it is not up for discussion.

But it is with me. Always has been and always will because I am not a player nor a piece. Sure, I've played both sides of the coin in some attempt at one thing or another but folly has a way of playing out to the same ends, over and over again. Or is that time and time again, I 'forget'².

So many roads to choose, it's like the amusement park, so may rides to choose from and the day's end is fast approaching. Within that the knowledge exists that there is no end so why not take your time. Experience calls to us, beckons us to participate no matter the road we have chosen for ourselves. Perhaps it is our very nature to follow the signs and portents since certain programming is inalienable. Wow, what a thought.

Pain requires the absence of such and since we are above and way beyond either it all becomes a mere play on intent. In the exhilaration of experience something beyond the perspection³ of ourselves it's absolutely amazing that we could 'live' without such. In the balance it all hangs. Perhaps it can be considered to play the 'B' side but I suppose that's for another Universe, another time and place in which to play out those thoughts and ideas with magically propel us forward. There is no 'forward' but that is besides the point.

We are the Keepers of our own Flame. And yet, we rise to some other occasion.

There is no such thing as 'inalienable' as we are the definition of such.

Spirit is indeed calling⁴.
