Where We Belong

Working alone, we wend our way through life, seeking and revealing all of life's mysteries and rhymes. Full-filling each and every quest, we move on to more important ones, always keeping an eye out for something of even greater 'worth'. Isn't this what life is all about? Gaining knowledge that others do not have gives us a sense of importance and in our eyes we are very important indeed.

Reaping that which we sow requires diligent action on our part and so, we strive to live up to the task. Basking in glory, we seek, Pride of self is like the lion before it's meal of the day, devouring whatever it is that is close at hand. Sharpening our wits, we become very clever at the games we play. Hiding ourselves, we reach Nirvana, only to fall back to reality where we belong.
