What Shall You Have Me Do?

Clearing the air, we gradually come to see. What it is that we see is individually experienced and remembered. Another yardstick comes to the rescue as we continue to build our future. The future is in the making, there is no time to lose, but the loss continues to haunt us day in and day out. We are the carrion, and time, nature’s clean-up crew.

Ignorance grows and ignorance diminishes, but it always seems to exist no matter what we do. We cannot shake it’s touch nor forget it’s imprint. What is it that compels us to accept it’s existence? What is it about ourselves in which ignorance finds it’s very own niche.

There is only one way to find out and that is the way of self discovery. What better journey could be devised, what better novel, full of twists and turns could be created than the one in which we, ourselves, star. The road you make is the road you take.

I see the world in all of it’s glory, bound by thoughts and desires. And so it is. I see others as having unique viewpoints in a test of my own, and so it is. I see the bountiful wonders of existence and the Dance of Creation as being the only real wonders of the universe, and so it is. My world is colored, and though my rose colored glasses I see all and am amazed. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I will wake up and see it all very, very differently.

"We don’t see things as they are,
we see things as we are."

- Anais Nin
