Self

The Self could be described as that which lights up, defines and gives life to the world we see through our physical and mental eyes. Where the Self is not, nothing is.

Here the emphasis is placed upon the realization of the Self. It is our true Nature and is ever present despite the fact that we may mistake our reflection to be ourselves.

Through ignorance we deny our own Nature and in that ignorance we live our lives as the shadows upon the walls of our creations.

Is it not better to realize exactly who and what we really are?

The glow that you see in the picture below represents Ourselves. The reflected light on the walls represent the reality in which we immerse ourselves and take to be real. But in reality there is only one Reality.
