Greetings and salutations.
Let’s start with the definition:
symposium: noun,
- a conference or meeting to discuss a particular subject.
- a collection of essays or papers on a particular subject by a number of contributors.
- a drinking party or convivial discussion, esp. as held in ancient Greece after a banquet (and notable as the title of a work by Plato).
ORIGIN: late 16th cent.(denoting a drinking party): via Latin from Greek sumposion, from sumpotes ‘fellow drinker,’ from sun- ‘together’ + potes ‘drinker.’
Here, we gather to discuss, in a convivial way, the subject of all subjects - ourselves, the awareness of awareness “unit” which is the one who is reading this now. Not the opinionated, self-serving, mind-FULL contraption we call ‘me’, but that wonderous being which has no name…

Update 03 Jan 08:
This also includes, of course, the Free Zone and all that it encompasses.
The Symposium is currently a work-in-process. This means that nothing is taken for granted - which is very typical for the way things are done around here.
You are welcome to add contributions, of almost any kind, which are aligned with the Free Zone America website.. Please bear in mind that nothing in this Unverse lasts forever and that the axiom of change rules the roost. Messages may never see the light of day, suddenly vear off into the unknown reaches of space or even become ‘important’ for a time. It all eventually boils down the same thing anyway, so the difference becomes non-existent. Our own beingness, our own nature is what really matters anyway.
If you can embrace the ability to seperate fact from fiction, the real from the unreal, then go ahead and leave the Magician’s show behind and focus attention on not the sleight of hand so many of us dearly love, but the unequivocal and unfetted root of all being, doing and having.

Another Day In The Corps…
This Symposium is just as it says: a convivial discussion on and about the Free Zone and all that it encompasses. That’s a very far-ranging topic but since there isn’t a need for an extensive and in-depth examination of the subject from here, who knows how it will turn out.
In either case, here is the space for come what may aligned, of course, with this site’s purpose.
