From "We've Never Left Home":

"From the moment we decide 'to be', we become forever chained to our initial motion of thought. Why is it that from that moment forward, all that we do remains purely centered around the motion in which we capture our essence to deliver the final blow to our enemy. Life hangs in the balance henceforth."

Clanging The Church Bell
by Paul Misiunas on Mon, 9th May 2005 16:56
When we identify ourselves with some thing we become that something and so loose ourselves to the same degree. Claiming a title is like living up to a death sentence and so as the executioner we narrow our focus and pretend to be something which we are obviously not.

What bell do you clang and to what do you proclaim?

  • Are we spiritually free? We will never be spiritually free because it is not a concept.
  • Do we consider ourselves as a man or a woman? We can never be either for we are not the body to which so many give their allegiance.
  • Are we smart or intelligent in our thinking? Thinking is nothing but a pondering on the thoughts of experience. We are neither the thought nor the experience and so intelligence is of no use.
  • Do we behave in a customary or respectful manner? Following rules of the road is nothing but an attempt to define and contain our very nature. How is that ever possible?

Perhaps other examples may come to mind.
