Following is the latest update of a list of attorneys who have been reported as employed or retained by the Church
of Scientology and/or any of its affiliate organizations primarily as litigators. The purpose of this list is to
inform the general public, public officials, and the media of the identity of those lawyers who assist the Church
of Scientology (hereafter, CO$) in carrying out its long-established and fully documented policy and practice of
suppressing the First Amendment rights of critics and detractors via intimidating letters, frivolous lawsuits,
SLAPP (strategic lawsuits against public participation) tactics, and other acts of barratry.
The note "CONFIRMED CO$" designates attorneys who have been confirmed as those who provide such legal
services to CO$. Whether or not attorneys so designated also happen to be members of the Church of Scientology
is irrelevant for this purpose. (In our view, the hacks are just as immoral and unethical as the members.)
The note "NEEDS CO$ VERIFICATION" designates attorneys who have been reported as working for CO$ but
have not been confirmed as such.
In a future edition of this list, we intend to include information from each attorney's state bar and court records,
including his/her disciplinary record and/or complaints filed against him/her.
