FREEZONE MUST ACT NOW
It is all coming to a boil.
The sharks are moving in for the kill.
When the CofS picketed the Clearwater police in a stupid attempt to handle the Lisa picket in December, they
shot a foot bullet which hit an artery.
They have been accumulating bad karma for years. Or from another view, they have kept many of the newsrooms
afraid of their courtroom harrassment and the resentment of that has had much time to grow.
But the New York Times ran the Lisa story. I suspect that the CofS counter picket is what pushed it over the
edge.
And the CofS legal staff and funding has been strained handling the endless copyright violations on the internet.
And so others, who might have been holding back out of fear, decided that now was the time because the CofS
already had its hands full.
So 60 Minutes, Extra, and The Wall St. Journal came pounding in, one, two, three on the CAN, Lisa, and IRS situations
respectively.
Now Public Eye just hit and there is a promise of more from CBS. They are unleasing everything in their arsenal
on the premise that the CofS legal harrassment fund will be too drained to counter attack as they have in the past.
Now it is a feeding frenzy and every newsroom that has ever been intimidated by the CofS into keeping a story
on the shelf will dust it off and release it.
Each wolf fears to strike the first blow, but once the prey is bleeding, all move in for the kill.
These are the final days of the CofS, at least in the form that we have known it.
It might still reform, although that time window is closing. It might just shatter. In either case, something
will remain, but it will not be what has existed before.
But the Freezone story has not yet hit the big news. And it is very important that it do so NOW while every
newsroom is hot for material and unafraid of CofS retaliation.
Some of you have struggled in court. Many of you have rightly feared dead agenting. It was always the big monster
overwhelming the little guy. You might rightly have steared clear of the church and feared publicity.
But it is different now.
And there is an important reason for telling the Freezone story.
It is a matter of religious persecution and the freedom to have the religious scriptures necessary to one's
faith.
You cannot assume that the materials will be set free by a CofS collapse. It is quite possible that they will
end up in the hands of a fanatical and ingrown Author Aervices that does not print them anymore but who does practice
ritual sueing.
Or somebody who wants to ensure that there will be no more fanaticism might outbid you at a bankruptcy sale
and then suppress them with the aid of copyrights.
Or some profit oriented click might get control and and play yet another set of profiteering games with them.
The only safe course is to break the copyrights on the basis of these being religious scriptures and launch
them into the public domain. Not just the NOTS or the secret stuff but all of it.
I did not begrudge Ron his royalties as an author. But he is gone. His family are already provided for and do
not see any of the profits.
The organization has brought on its own downfall, but if it hadn't, their members would buy the official editions
in support of their church so they are not directly hurt by others reproducting their own materials. In fact, the
organization would not sell to "squirrels" anyway, so there is not even a potential loss of sales.
This is the one special time when there might be so much popular support and so much news exposure that the
religious persecution and the use of copyrights to suppress freedom of religion might in fact be brought to light
and handled.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW, TODAY, IS TO START EMAILING EVERY NEWSROOM IN THE US AND OTHER COUNTRIES ABOUT THE FREEZONE
STORY.
This is simple and safe. You do not have to put yourself in reach of their last few courtroom death throes.
Just get the newspeople on it.
But GET THEM ON IT NOW. They might not listen later.
What is the freezone story?
It is very simple.
One believes in the tech. One wishes to practice one's religion in peace and harmony. One wishes to own and
apply copies of the holy scriptures known as the LRH materials.
One does not like the mother church. One disagrees with how it behaves. One wishes to practice independently
or form a separate organization. One does not wish to obey the RTC or the Sea Org.
And then one is not only sued on copyright violations, but one is attacked and harrased at every turn.
The analogy is that of the Catholics holding a copyright to the Holy Bible and preventing the Lutherans from
practicing their faith or reproducing their holy scriptures.
And include a bunch of URLs for various freezone sites such as fza.org and lightlink.com so that the newspeople
have somewhere to start from.
And if you're ambitious, write a history of freezone harrassment and get it up on the web.
And there are some other good writers who have been putting out reformation stuff recently. Maybe somebody should
web that and call attention to it.
I'm not providing a literal minded email for you to copy because this is freezone. Each individual moves in
his own way towards the target rather than marching in ranks. We should not look like Justin the spam clam.
For now, just get it into the media. Things will escallate. This may be critical groundwork for later.
I am saving my anonymousness for later. And I do love to see OSA scurrying and PTS to who I might be. But I
will come out in the open if a point of maximum impact presents itself.
This is happening faster than I expected. I had thought that the self clearing book would have a year to work
its way into the orgs and errode the foundations.
It might still happen that way. Maybe the attacks will die down or the org will find a way to gain a brief respite.
But I don't think so. It looks like the whole house of cards is about to tumble.
And if it does fall, the freezone has to be positioned and visible, not only to free the materials from religious
persecution, but also to give hope and alternatives to the membership who will otherwise feel like the Christians
under Nero.
